Our pastor and church staff are here to connect with you, care for you, and help you develop your relationship with Jesus Christ. That means being available to listen to, talk with, pray for, and worship beside you. And it means being present to meet the spiritual needs of people wherever they are—whether in church, homes, hospital beds, prison cells, office buildings, coffee houses, or on the streets.

Pastor Dwayne has served West Normandy since April 2012 on Normandy Blvd and is now serving at our new location The Well at Crystal Springs. He is a native to Jacksonville and has faithfully preached the gospel for over 30 years, starting and serving various churches here in Northeast Florida. His desire is to see people following the Lord Jesus Christ intimately and passionately; experiencing all that Christ has for them. He often quotes John 16:33 - "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” He is married to his best friend, Pat, and together they have enjoyed life and serving the Lord for over 36years!

Connie has been a member of West Normandy since 1969; and has served on staff since 2003. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to Florida with her family at age 6 and was raised in the Gainesville area. She married her high school sweetheart, Billy, in 1968 and they moved to Jacksonville in 1969. She worked for the Duval County School Board as Secretary to the Principal at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, serving in that position for 20 years. She has served as a Bible Teacher at West Normandy for 39+ years. She enjoys studying and teaching through Paul's letters and the study of prophecy.
